Welcome to the Stoneham Public Schools. As a small, suburban community north of Boston that takes great pride in our cultural heritage, we cherish our ability to identify and meet the needs of each student. Our four neighborhood elementary schools provide opportunities for parents to be actively involved in their child’s education, and our Middle and High Schools generally maintain core class sizes in the low 20’s. Historically, 85% of our High School graduates pursue a college education at a 2-year or 4-year institution; we also offer School-to-Career programs in automotive technology, child development, culinary arts and marketing. With the
support of our two local foundations, the Stoneham Business and Community Educational Foundation and the Stoneham Public Schools Foundation, we maintain a full program of interscholastic and intramural sports as well as drama and fine arts programs. Our elementary schools offer tuition-based full-day kindergarten and afterschool care programs.
I invite you to explore our website as a first step in learning about our schools. Please call us at 781-279-3802 if you have any questions.
